DV AUTOMATION SETS EYES ON THE FAR EAST
|
DV Automation, the specialist manufacturer of hemming closure systems and solutions for vehicle bodies, has signalled its ambitions to expand its business in the Far East.

The company will shortly appoint an agent in China as part of its plans to further increase sales in the region following substantial interest in its machines from some of the country’s top car makers at CIMT, Beijing’s major machine tool exhibition.
DV Automation has also launched a new online guide in several languages, including Chinese, in order to provide a wider range of information on its products and services.
It not only details DVA’s extensive engineering expertise but also outlines its hemming closure solutions such as electro-mechanical and robotic hemming machines, pre-bend and marriage stations, and complete turnkey closure assembly lines.
The UK-based manufacturer, which was acquired last year by friction welding specialist, Thompson, has just clinched more than £1 million worth of new orders to supply a series of electro-mechanical hemming machines to Renault’s factory in Sandouville, France, and at Magnetto production facilities in Germany and Brazil.
DV Automation has also recently supplied a robotic hemming cell to Stadco, the Tier One automotive pressings and components supplier, for joining closure parts at its factory in the Midlands.
“The Far East will be the focus of the next stage in DVA’s ongoing sales and marketing campaign which aims to develop more new business in several key regions around the world within the next 2-3 years,” commented Mark Schlanker, DV Automation’s business manager.
