Trainee Engineer / Technical Sales Engineer

Objectives:

• To support existing DVA personnel from an engineering process and sales point of view
  
• To advance quickly to a Technical Sales Engineer role
  
  

Role:

• Learn and understand DVA’s range of products and capabilities
  
• Learn and understand hemming processes and requirements
• Learn about hemming machine / system design
  
• Aid with follow up of sales enquiries that come into the company
  
• Provide support to existing DVA team, ie: engineering proposals, layouts, presentations, etc
  
• Learn to prepare quotations based on customer requirement, specifying process/equipment & where necessary consult with Engineering Department
  
• Use of reporting
  

Competencies:

• Good mechanical engineering knowledge/appreciation
  
• PC literate (word, excel, powerpoint)
  
• Good communication skills both oral and written
  
• Able to read and understand engineering drawings (CAD experience a benefit)
  
• Able to travel. (As the company is a global organisation then significant global travel will be
  required.)

• Possess drive and determination, self motivation and ambition to develop with the company.

Qualifications:

• Educated to HND or Degree level in an Engineering discipline
